The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is a registered charity that saves lives at sea.

 

It’s crew is voluntary and available to save life at sea within the busy Solent, Southampton Water areas 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

 

Calshot has 2 lifeboats, an Atlantic 85 and a D-class inshore lifeboat.

Our Boats

 

We have two boats stationed here at Calshot RNLI, a D-Class and an Atlantic 85. You can find more details on these througout the site

 

Crew

 

Currently we have a team of 28. This consists of Shore Crew and Boat Crew.

Latest Service Call

 

Our D-Class was launched to a vessel aground off of the River Hamble. The crew assisted the vessel in making preparations for re-floating safely on the next tide.
